Green Innovation Upgrade: Tetra DreamCap 26 Pro Reduces Plastic Usage by 7%

Tetra Pak released the upgraded DreamCap 26 Pro tethered cap in early 2026, further promoting low-carbon development for liquid food packaging.

Compared with the previous generation, the new cap cuts plastic consumption by 7%. It also launches a plant-based version, reducing carbon footprint by about 33%. Adopting an integrated hinge structure, the cap remains connected to the package after opening, which conforms to global plastic restriction policies and solves the problem of cap littering.

The 26mm large-caliber opening brings a smoother drinking experience, and the anti-counterfeit ring ensures food safety. By the end of 2025, Tetra Pak has delivered over 3 billion tethered caps worldwide, widely used in high-end pure milk and plant protein beverage products.

Under the global dual-carbon background, recyclable, low-plastic and plant-based packaging accessories have become the core development direction of the industry. Tetra Pak will continue to expand the production capacity of eco-friendly caps in 2026.
